02/12/2014 – Aquinas College junior, Allison Heberlein, became the 18th player in school history to score 1,000 points for her career. Heberlein, who prepped at Lansing Catholic Central, hit a jumper with 3:37 to play in the first half against Davenport to collect point 999 and 1,000 for her career. Allison is currently averaging 14.0 points and 7.3 rebounds per contest for the Saints this season.
Coach Nash comments, "Allison brings so many different dimensions to our team. She is an all-around player that has a knack for scoring and hitting big shots when we need them. She is a pure shooter in every sense of the word and she has a great work ethic."
Heberlein and the rest of the Saints will return to action tonight as the battle Lawrence Tech on "Senior Night" at the Sturrus Sports & Fitness Center. The women's game will tip at 6 p.m.
