11/18/2010 – The men's and women's cross country teams flew into Portland, Oregon last night in preparation for Saturday's NAIA Cross Country National Championships. Thirty-two of the best teams in the country will be traveling to the Great Northwest to take part in the championships. The race will be run in historic Fort Vancouver, Washington on Saturday morning.
The men's team, which is currently ranked 17th in the country, will be led by Dustin Heiler, who has been the top Saints finisher in four of their five races. Joining Heiler will be Mike Gravelyn, Devin Lea, Mike Morgan, Nate Poirier, Kolin Stickney, Jim Janisse and Danny Foley.
The women's team will be paced by WHAC Runner of the Year, Rachael Steil. The Saints are fresh off their WHAC Championship and enter the championships ranked 19th in the NAIA. Steil will be joined by Katy Cramer, Samantha Rinkus, Alina Dhaseleer, Alicia Boynton, Rachel Luehm, Megan Byrne and Brittany Andres.
