Saints Fall, Conclude Season at Nationals

05/17/2012 – The men's tennis team concluded their season with a 5-0 loss to #4 ranked Azusa Pacific at the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championships. The Cougars improved to 26-11 and advanced to the "Elite 8", while the Saints finish the season with an overall record of 26-3.

2.Wilkens/Yam (AP) def. Wolf/Masteller (AQ) 8-6
3.Eger/Ikonnikov (AP) def. Telfer/Tratt (AQ) 8-3

While at the championships, the ITA recognized Aaron Hendrick as the ITA's Men's Player to Watch for the East region, while Aaron's sister Ashely, was named the ITA's Women's Arthur Ashe Recipient for the East region. Aquinas' Steve Rose was honored as the ITA's National Assistant Coach of the Year.
