Smith's Round Leads Saints to Fourth Place Finish

10/02/2010 – The men's golf team finished in fourth place at the last installment of the WHAC men's golf jamboree for the fall season. Alex Smith led the Saints as he recorded a 74 to tie for medalist honors on the day. Smith shared the crown with Ben VanBiesbrouk of Cornerstone and Cam Thomas of Davenport. The Panthers won the contest at Tecumseh Country Club finishing seven strokes in front of Cornerstone and Madonna.

Also contributing to the fourth place finish for the Saints was Patrick O'Brien who finished in a tie for 15th as he shot an 80. Filling in the third and fourth spots for the Saints were John DeAngelis (81) and Andrew Kish (84).
