09/11/2012 – Mike Sweers was recognized by the WHAC for his efforts in net for the Saints. The sophomore from East Kentwood High School recorded five saves and yielded only one goal on a penalty kick during 197+ minutes in goal to lead Aquinas to a 1-0 double overtime win over Cornerstone and a 3-1 victory over Goshen.
Sweers and the Saints will return to action on Wednesday as they host Calumet College of St. Joseph (2-4) at 4:30 p.m. |
