Saints Head West for Nationals

11/14/2012 – The men's and women's cross country teams flew into Portland, Oregon today in preparation for Saturday's NAIA Cross Country National Championships. Thirty-two of the best teams in the country will be traveling to the Great Northwest to take part in the championships. The race will be run in historic Fort Vancouver, Washington on Saturday morning.

The men's team, which is currently ranked 8th in the country, will be making their 13th consecutive trip to the championships. Representing Aquinas College will be Jeff Cherry, Dan Foley, Stephen Glinski, Grant Gunneson, Kevin Mahar, Brendan Molony, Zach Stepanovich and Jacob Towne.

The women's team, which is currently ranked 14th in the country, will be making their 7th trip to the championships in the last eight years. Representing the Saints will be Alina Dhaseleer, Crysta Paganelli, Britta Patterson, Taylor Pryde, Catie Rietsema, Jamie Sansone, Rachael Steil and Carley Woolcott.

The women's race will begin at 1:30 p.m., while the men will toe the line at 2:45 p.m.
