Women's Golf Place 2nd at St. Francis

04/07/2013 – The women's golf team placed 2nd out of 12 schools at the St. Francis (Ind.) Spring Invitational in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The host Cougars claimed sixth overall, while Madonna took home the team title by five strokes. The Crusaders Jordyn Shepler was crowned the individual medalist. Aquinas shot a total of 661 strokes and was led by Abby Hagan who placed second overall and carded (+11) over the two days. Aquinas also received scoring efforts from Alicia Flood (6th), Morgan Leep (8th) and Kristina Raiz (15th).

The Saints will return to action this weekend as they travel to Holland to play in a tournament hosted by Hope College at the Ravines Golf Club.
