Saints Tie for Fourth at Siena

09/15/2013 – The men's golf team placed fourth at the Siena Heights Invitational. The seven teams squared off at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian, Michigan. The event was hosted by Siena Heights Universtiy.

The host Saints claimed first place overall, while Aquinas College tied for fourth. Siena's Alex Willnow claimed medalist honors with an even par 71 on his home course. Aquinas shot a total of 318 strokes (+34) and were led by Cody Britton and Patrick O'Brien who shot matching 76's and tied for sixth overall. Aquinas also received scoring efforts from Steven Opfhoff (80) and Austin King (86).

The Saints will return to action this weekend as they host the second WHAC jamboree of the season at The Highlands. The WHAC schools will converge on Grand Rapids for an 11 a.m. tee-off on Thursday.
