Amy Stover - Assistant Coach

Stover attended Three Rivers High School and cheered on the sideline team for three years and competitively at the varsity level for four years. Our squad was the first team in my high school's history to win conference, regional, and qualify for state finals at the Delta Plex in Grand Rapids. I graduated from Three Rivers in 2009 and enrolled at Aquinas College. I cheered all four years for the Saints ,while obtaining my bachelor's degree in psychology. I have worked for Victory Cheerleading Company based out of Allendale, MI for two summers and the National Cheerleaders Association for the past two summers in the Central Region. I was one of four athletes from Michigan to try out and make staff and earned the rookie award for "Best Technique" my first summer. I attended Davenport University over the past year to work on obtaining a certificate in medical case management and cheered for the Panthers and helped earn their second consecutive national title at the NCA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Season Outlook

The Aquinas College Cheer Team cheers at all home basketball games and also competes throughout the winter season, with their last competition being the NCA Collegiate National Championship in Daytona Beach, FL in April. They perform at various all star competitions, January though March, to prepare for Nationals. NCA Nationals is the largest Cheer Championship in the world, last year over 200 teams competed in 15 divisions. As the season comes to an end, Aquinas will put all their hard work and commitment to the test with this opportunity to compete for their own national title.
Bring it Home Saints!
