The Baldwin Observatory at Aquinas College brings Students and the Public together to explore the night sky. Originally installed in 1992, the observatory was used to educate students about space. Today, with the help of the Astronomy Club, it serves the Aquinas community as well as the general public to celebrate our love and understanding of the universe.
Weather permitting, the observatory is open to the public the last Saturday of each month.
The Baldwin Observatory is located atop the Albertus Hall Science Building on the Aquinas College campus. It was constructed with the aid of a generous grant from the Baldwin Foundation, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
