| John has held senior management positions in Production, Planning, Sales &Marketing, and General Management, and is CEO and President of Compass Associates, a Strategic Intelligence Consulting Company with locations in Boston, Chicago, and in western Michigan. |

| John and his wife Ginny have two children (Pete, 11; and Cathy, 7), two Golden Retrievers (Halsey & Nimitz), and moved to western Michigan 3 years ago from Chicago. His volunteer activities include Marianjoy Rehabilitation Center, Chicago; the Lake County Races (Special Olympics), Zion, Ill.; and Rotary International, among others. He coaches soccer and lacrosse, and loves spending as much time as possible with his family sailing, skiing, swimming, and playing lacrosse. |

| John has his BS in Marketing from Michigan State University, and his Masters of Management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois (’80). |
