| In addition to the Computer Information Systems (CIS) degree, Aquinas now offers a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS). The MIS degree stresses the balance of computer technical skills with the knowledge of business
functions. |
| Another new aspect of the Department is the offering of Certificates, composed of 12 credit hours of computer theory and applications. These certificates can count toward either the CIS or the MIS degrees. |
Also, a major change has taken place in the CIS degree requirements.
Six hours of application courses can count toward the 36-credit major and
the 24-credit minor.
