Network Information

Please Note:  The T.A.P. system can be accessed without an ELM account; however, network and internet access will be unavailable.  See the “If you do not have an username and ELM password . . .” section below for details.

To request network access, please complete the Network Access Request form located at http://campus.aquinas.edu/its/forms/.

To access the internet, discipline-specific software, Library resources, MS Office, etc., as well as Aquinas web features such as CourseConnect, My AQ, Aquinas Email and Calendar Powered by Google, the Moose, etc., you will need an ELM account.

When using a laptop, you may use either:

  • Use an AQnet registered laptop for Internet access (See the Aquinas AQnet web page located at www.aquinas.edu/computer/aqnet for AQnet information.)

    OR
  • Use a laptop that is NOT registered to AQnet for projecting items from a laptop – however, this laptop will not be able to access the internet.
Using the T.A.P. Computer
Step 1: Power on computer & monitor

Step 2: Enter username/password

If you have a username and ELM password

  1. Look to see that the “Workstation only” box under the Novell login is unchecked.
  2. Use your username and ELM password to login.

If you do not have a username and ELM password, or need to login without using the network
