Turning on AQnet Wi-Fi
Most laptops will recognize the AQnet Wi-Fi network immediately. If your laptop does not, please make sure that
your network connection is not disabled. You can check this on a Windows laptop by going to the Start
menu and clicking on Control Panel. Then click on Network Connections, and make sure that your network
connection does not have a red “X” through it. If it does, right-click on the appropriate network connection
and click “Enable.”
Registering AQnet Wi-Fi
Your networking is now on, and
your laptop should recognize the
AQnet Wi-Fi network. You still need to
enter in your ELM account
information. To do this, open your
internet browser. It may take a
few minutes, but a registration
screen will eventually appear. You
will see the AQnet Wi-Fi logo and
then details about AQnet Wi-Fi. To
register, click the “Register”
button at the bottom of the page.
This is where you will enter in
your ELM login information.
Your computer will be registered and your network
access will be enabled.
Prompted to register again?
With using AQnet Wi-Fi, your machine only stays registered for each session or until you disconnect your internet
connection (a session will usually last for 8 to 10 hours.) In order to continue using the AQnet Wi-Fi network, you will have to go through the registration
process again.
Need additional help?
