For best performance on AQnet, we recommend your personal computer meet certain specifications. While these are not requirements, having or exceeding the following specifications will enhance your AQnet experience.

*Please note that antivirus software is required for AQnet use.  If you do not have an antivirus program for your AQnet computer, there are several free programs available such as AVG 8.0, AVG 8.5, AVG 9, AntiVir, and Avast!. What if I want a desktop?

Desktops typically have similar specifications as laptops.  However, you will also need a keyboard, mouse, and monitor for operation.  CRT Monitors do not fit well on dorm furniture.  Therefore, a flat panel display is recommended.
