Dan Diedrich is the Director of Field Placement. He has a B.A. in English from the University of Notre Dame and two masters degrees, an M.A. in history and and M.S. in education from Indiana University. He started his teaching career in Uganda, East Africa, at a Catholic secondary school at the foot of the "Mountains of the Moon." He spent thirty years in the Grand Rapids and Wyoming Public Schools as a teacher and a principal. Concurrently he has been an adjunct faculty member at Aquinas for the last twenty years, teaching education methods and a graduate class in motivation and discipline. Recently the Grand Rapids Notre Dame Club named him the outstanding Catholic educator in Grand Rapids. |
