Education students need and deserve ample opportunities to experience and to reflect upon effective teaching and learning. Our programs challenge students to explore this vision by directly working with children and young adults under the guidance of master teachers in the community and on campus. Intent upon connecting abstract educational theories with practice, the majority of our education courses require classroom observations and field-based experiences. Our collaborative partnerships with area schools make this requirement feasible and provide excellent opportunities for student involvement.
