Deaf & Hard of Hearing Consortium for Teacher Preparation

The Deaf & Hard of Hearing Consortium is an innovative, multi-state university partnership for the delivery of a teacher endorsement in Deaf and Hard of Hearing in an online format. The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) has created a way to obtain a Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement through its partnership with several institutions of higher learning.
 
Choose courses from any of the participating universities:

Kent State University
Minot State University
Saginaw Valley State University
Saint Joseph's University
Texas Woman's University
University of Tennessee, Knoxville
Valdosta State University
 
Classes are primarily offered through:

  • Online courses
  • Webinars
  • Video conferencing

How to Get Started:

  • Submit a program application to Aquinas College. Click here for the application:  DHH Application
  • Work with us to create a plan of study upon acceptance of application.
  • Register for courses once the plan of study is approved.
