Secondary Education Endorsement (Graduate)

Designed for the certified elementary teacher who wishes to add a secondary endorsement. The candidate must be endorsed (major and minor) in areas recognized as appropriate by the Michigan Department of Education and available at Aquinas College. Passing scores on subject area tests are required by the Michigan Department of Education if not previously accomplished. The practicum requirement is dependent upon the teaching experience of the candidate.

The Master in the Art of Teaching with Secondary Education Endorsement requires a minimum of 36 credit hours. Pursuing ONLY the Secondary Education Endorsement requires a minimum of 21 credit hours (courses with asterisk *).
