TRAUMATIC BRAIN INJURY SCHOLARSHIP
Bressman Law is offering their first Traumatic Brain Injury Scholarship. We have created a $1,000 scholarship to acknowledge the difficulties faced by those with severe head trauma and to reward those that have persevered and are seeking a college education. The scholarship is open to undergraduate, graduate and law school students who fit the scholarship's requirements. THE GALLERY COLLECTION SCHOLARSHIP (The 8th Annual Create-A-Greeting-Card $10,000 Scholarship Contest)
One $10,000 scholarship is available to all high school, college and university students enrolled at any time during the latter half of 2014 in an academic program designed to conclude with the awarding of a diploma, or a degree. Applicants must submit a unique photo, piece of artwork, or computer graphic for the front of a greeting card. The student with the best design will win a $10,000 scholarship and have their design made into an actual card to be sold in our line. 2015 PHI DELTA KAPPA PROSPECTIVE EDUCATOR SCHOLARSHIP
Phi Delta Kappa - State of Michigan Chapter 1607 is awarding two (2) $1,000 scholarships to a high school student planning to pursue a teacher education program OR an undergraduate currently enrolled in a teacher preparation program. Eligible recipients of our chapter scholarship are then recommended for the PDK International Scholarship. MICHIGAN ASSOCIATION FOR THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG CHILDREN
A $1,000 scholarship is available for a student who has completed at least 60 credits toward a bachelor's degree and is majoring or minoring in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field, e.g., Early Childhood Special Education, Family studies. Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.75 and are to apply on line at: http://www.miaeyc.org/. Deadline is March 2, 2015 and the award will apply to the fall semester 2015.
 
THE MIDLAND SECTION OF THE AMERICAN CHEMICAL SOCIETY
The Midland Section of the American Chemical Society will offer three (3) $2,000 scholarships for the 2015 academic year. The scholarships are to provide financial support to college and university students seeking academic degrees in the chemical sciences. Applicants must have graduated from high school in Midland, Bay, Gratiot, Isabella, and Saginaw counties. Eligible students will be those majoring in a chemical science and entering their sophomore, junior, or senior level of study at a college or university in the state of Michigan. The requirements for receiving a scholarship will be based on academic achievement and potential for contributions to the chemical sciences. NAZARETH

This year we will award several $1,000 Nazareth Association scholarships to qualified applicants classified as rising undergraduate junior or seniors at a Catholic college or university for the 2015-2016 academic year. We also offer two (2) $1,000 scholarships to a nursing student in any Catholic or non-Catholic accredited nursing program , the Marian Vyverman Memorial Nursing Scholarship. You may pick up applications in the Financial Aid Office, or print one off at their website at:http://www.nazarethassociation.org/11.html. Applicants should complete the application form and return it in one packet with all the required components (official transcripts, personal essay, list of extracurricular activities and three letters of recommendations) by the deadline March 15, 2015.

 
POLISH HERITAGE SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIP
The Polish Heritage Society will award a $300 scholarship to a deserving Aquinas student for the Fall semester 2015. Applicants must be a full-time student, with a minimum 2.75 GPA. Applicants will be assessed on an individual basis. Character, academic excellence, financial need, community involvement, dedication, commitment to their goals, proof of Polish heritage, and the recommendation letter will be considered. Applicants must write an essay of 100 words or less stating your goals in life, how higher education enters into these goals, and why you feel that you are deserving of the Polish Heritage Scholarship. FRED & LENA MEIJER SCHOLARSHIP
2 - $10,000 scholarships and 100+ - $2,500 college scholarships will be awarded for the 2015-2016 Academic Year. Eligible Applicants must be: Full or Part-time Meijer Team Members or Children of Full or Part-time Meijer Team Members (with a date of hire prior to 4/2/2014). GRAND RAPIDS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP
Grand Rapids Community Foundation awards hundreds of scholarships annually primarily to Kent County students bound for or in college, or those pursuing a technical career. ERIC VERHAAR MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP
A $1,000 scholarship is available to a junior or senior college student from West Michigan. Applicants must be attending a Community College, 4 year College or University, or Trade School within Michigan. Applicants must have a minimum 2.0 GPA and will be judged on work experience, community service, leadership/extracurricular activities, and essays. BUCKFIRE & BUCKFIRE, P.C. 2014 STUDENT DISABILITY SCHOLARSHIP
A $1,000 scholarship is available to students with any type of disability, including but not limited to physical disabilities, medical conditions, mental and psychiatric conditions, speech and language, learning disabilities, behavioral conditions, and all other conditions. SENIOR CARE INNOVATION SCHOLARSHIP
A Place for Mom's Senior Care Innovation Scholarship is offering five (5) $1000 scholarships to students enrolled in an associate's, bachelor's, or graduate level program at an accredited school in the fields of gerontology, medicine, nursing, social work, sociology, psychology, PT/OT, speech pathology or long-term care administration. MICHIGAN COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF MATHEMATICS
The Miriam B. Schaefer Scholarship of $2,500 is available to a Junior/Senior (Fall 2015) currently enrolled in a teacher education program with a mathematics specialty and a minimum GPA of 3.0. VETERAN'S MESOTHELIOMA CANCER AWARENESS SCHOLARSHIP
Mesothelioma.net is offering a $1,000 scholarship to students who are either seniors in high school or freshmen or sophomores in college. Mesothelioma.net is dedicated to increasing awareness of mesothelioma cancer, a rare and aggressive disease, by providing support, education, and resources to the public. Veterans who worked on Navy ships filled with asbestos were particularly susceptible to being diagnosed with mesothelioma. ATHNET SPORTS RECRUITING SCHOLARSHIP
A $1,000 scholarship is available to current or former athletes at the high school or college level. (Applicant must be a current college student or high school senior entering college). Applicants must write a 400-500 word essay describing how the lessons you have learned through playing sports have positively impacted you as you pursue your college education. THE TONY MUNTER WHISTLEBLOWER ATTORNEY TRANSPARENCY SCHOLARSHIP
Tony Munter supports those laws enacted to encourage and reward the brave individuals who step forward to expose fraudulent activity. This general scholarship is available to undergraduate students, graduate and law school students as well as incoming college freshmen at an accredited U.S. School. NORBERT J. HRUBY
Scholarships are available for first time students in the Continuing Education or Graduate programs (or students in these programs who have not attended Aquinas in the past 2 years). Scholarships are awarded based on leadership and/or community service and are renewable for 7 consecutive years or until graduation, whichever comes first. Applications are available in the Financial Aid Office or click here to download a copy. Your application must be received by the Aquinas mail room (located in the basement of the Academic Building), by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2015.
 
2015 REIFF AND BILY LEGAL SCHOLARSHIP
A $1,000 scholarship is open to any student studying for a career in the legal field. Applicants must be pursuing a degree in pre-law or paralegal studies, or working towards their J.D. in any concentration related to the law. Applicants must be a citizen of the United States, and must demonstrate plans to enroll for admission, or have proof of current full-time enrollment at an accredited institution. If you have not yet received your acceptance into college or law school, you may still apply. Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or better. GOEDEKER'S COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS
Two (2) - $500 scholarships (for books) are available, one is open to all. The other is for students employed in public service positions (This includes: Federal, state, and local governmental employees, Public school teachers, Police officers and firefighters, and Active military, reserves and veterans).. Each scholarship will also award two (2) $100 prizes recognizing honorable mention entries. The scholarships applies to the fall 2015 semester. Both scholarship involve writing an essay.
