Information on H1N1 (Swine Flu)

The Aquinas College Health and Wellness Center received over 100 doses of the H1N1 vaccine from the Kent County Health Department. Our priority groups as identified by the CDC are: pregnant women, children from 6 months - 24 years, adults 25-64 years with chronic medical problems, and adults and caregivers of children younger than 6 months. We will be receiving additional doses this week. Once we immunize our targeted priority groups, we can continue to vaccinate the rest of the Aquinas Community. We anticipate the second phase to commence by Wednesday, Nov. 11. The cost of the H1N1 vaccine is $10. The vaccine can be received during normal clinic hours. No appointment is necessary but wait times can vary.
