New in 2009: The Alumni Welcome Center! Located in Donnelly, information on hotels, weekend activities, events off campus, Alumni Association affinity programs, and all things AQ will be available. Chat with your pals over hot tea, coffee, and hot cocoa as you peruse materials from the historical archive.
 
Around Grand Rapids: ArtPrize
Visit the Welcome Center for information on GR happenings, including ArtPrize - the world's largest art prize and radically open competition, that will be taking place downtown. ArtPrize finalists will be announced on October 1, 2009. Anyone who attends the event can vote. >>More About ArtPrize

The AQ Midway - Play your favorite carnival games and meet current Saints from on campus Student Organizations. Holmdene/AMC Lawn 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Children’s Discovery Space - Expanded for 2009, three different areas will be hosted by the Conductive Learning Center, Child Discovery Center, and International Programs.
Need a quiet space? The Grace Hauenstein Library houses a Children’s Library that is open from 1 to 5 p.m.
Alumni Walk Lawn 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Main Stage Tent - Gather your friends beneath the big top for refreshments and live music, including the Aquinas Jazz Band from 1:30-2:30 and The Wealthy Street Sheiks featuring Dave Marin, '74 and Jimmie Stagger from 7:00- 9:30 p.m. Holmdene Lawn 1 - 9 p.m.

Campus Sightseeing - Trams staffed by AQ Ambassadors will continuously loop throughout campus, stopping at following buildings:  Donnelly Center, Grace Haunstein Library, Performing Arts Center, Albertus Magnus Science Hall, Wege Student Center, Academic Building, Art and Music Center, and Holmdene.  Various Locations 1 to 4 p.m.
AQ Bean Bag Toss Tournament - Registration and open play begins at 2.p.m. Tournament will commence when eight teams have signed up. Holmdene Lawn 2 p.m.
