Japanese Conversation and Social (J-Chat)

If you are interested in learning/practicing Japanese, this is one of the best ways to do it: chat with Japanese natives and other Japanese language learners. It's sponsored by Grand Rapids Sister Cities International (GRSCI) and they meet once a month. All are invited. Occasionally, they have great cultural activities, such as tea ceremony and origami.

When: 7 to 9 p.m. on the third Monday of every month
Where: Schuler Books & Music - Alpine (3165 Alpine Ave. in Walker, Mich.)

For more information: Visit the GRSCI Web site or go to the Schuler Books & Music Web site and click in-store events for the Alpine store.
