| As the business world becomes increasingly dominated by global forces, students with a B.S. in International Business and a strong background in a second language will continue to be in demand among employers. The Department of Modern Languages works closely with the Department of Business Administration to prepare students for this challenging field. |

| International Studies |
| The study of a second language is an excellent preparation for students who wish to work in international politics and development. The International Studies program, offers a major in international studies, an interdisciplinary degree including the study of a second language, economics, geography, history, and politics. |

| Service Learning |
| Students can also gain valuable experience in the context of another culture by participating in one of Aquinas College's Service-Learning programs, which are jointly taught by faculty within and outside the Modern Languages Department. |
