Doing your own renewals is a contract between you and the Aquinas College Grace Hauenstein Library that you accept a new level of responsibility for material you have checked out. Please read the following carefully.

Your Responsibilities Regarding Aquinas College Renewals:
Some library material is not eligible for renewal. You may receive a message, "Renewal not allowed" if you attempt to renew ineligible items. Be sure all your information matches before clicking on "Renew."
After clicking "Renew" look at the STATUS column for each item to determine IF it has actually been renewed. Some types of material may NEVER be renewed, including:
Items recalled by someone else and marked HOLD on the screen. Items long overdue and already billed for replacement; these items must be brought to the library for renewal.
Items whose loan policies do not allow renewal, such as reserve readings, material checked out by special permission.
If the items has been renewed, note the new due date for your records.
If the item did not renew, return the material promptly!
NOTE: Even if you DO NOT notice that an item was not renewed, you are responsible for any overdue/recall fines.
