Library Services

The Circulation Department is responsible for the lending of all library materials, including Course Reserve. Students, staff, and faculty must have a current Aquinas College ID to check out Library material. Community members must be members of a Michicard library in order to obtain borrowing privileges at the Grace Hauenstein Library.
CourseConnect makes interactive learning an integral part of the online format thanks to discussion boards, forums, and online assignments and quizzes. Professors can provide support over a greater time period, making contact when appropriate for both the teacher and student. Surveys, polls, and class directories create opportunities for seeking further clarification and/or guidance.
This Introduction to Information Literacy (GE 103) course is an introductory class that gives students the skills they need to become lifelong learners. GE 103 is a required 1-credit course for first year students at Aquinas College. The purpose of the course is to introduce students to the process of finding, organizing, and using information in print, electronic and other formats.
Interlibrary Loan
Library material not owned by the Grace Hauenstein Library may be borrowed from other libraries via InterLibrary Loan (ILL). This service is provided free to all students, faculty and staff. On rare occasions there may be costs involved to obtain some ILL materials.
