AQ SAINTS BASKETBALL TEAMS HEAD TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Grand Rapids, Mich. (March 9, 2009) - Both the AQ men's and women's basketball teams will be spending spring break week competing in national tournaments.

Women's Basketball
The Aquinas College women's basketball team is headed for Sioux City, Iowa, and the NAIA Div. II National Tournament. This is the Saints' third trip to the national tournament in the last four years. The #7 Saints face Kansas Wesleyan in the first round on Wednesday, March 11 at 6:15 p.m. For more information, visit the NAIA Web site.

Men's Basketball
For the fourth year in a row, the Aquinas College men's basketball team is headed for the NAIA Division II National Tournament in Point Lookout, Mo. The #14 Saints face College of the Ozarks (Mo.) in the first round on Wednesday, March 11 at 9 p.m. For more information, visit the NAIA Web site.
