Aquinas College Peter M. Wege Pro-Am Golf Tournament
Aquinas College is pleased to present the 13th annual Peter M. Wege Pro-Am Golf Tournament. This year’s event is taking place at Kent Country Club on Monday, May 17, 2021.
This Tournament is limited to 28 teams of five players (one professional is partnered with each foursome). You won’t want to miss this exclusive opportunity to golf alongside the pros while raising funds to support our AQ Saints. Proceeds from this event help students at Aquinas receive a high-quality and holistic education that prepares them for a life of meaning and success.
Schedule of Events
8:30 a.m. - Registration and Breakfast
10 a.m. - Shotgun Start
3 p.m. - 19th Hole Toast and Awards Reception
In addition to 18 holes of play, golfers will be treated to breakfast, a variety of lunch stations, beverages, contests, games, prizes and hearty hors d’oeuvres at our 19th Hole Toast and Awards Reception. This year, each golfer will also leave with a new AQ golf shirt.
Remembering Peter M. Wege
Our Pro-Am Tournament honors the memory and legacy of Aquinas benefactor, Peter M. Wege. Mr. Wege was a valued member of the Aquinas community and served the College for over 50 years. He was instrumental in the development of Aquinas and his name adorns many special places on our campus. His principles and commitment to creating a just and sustainable world remain a living legacy to Aquinas and its students.
