Bringing a Bike to Campus?

With gas prices expected to rise again this summer, Residence Life, the Center for Sustainability and our Grounds Department are partnering to install more new bike loops and bike hangers around campus before August. If you are bringing a bike, you will be able to register it and take a short group ride on Saturday, August 22, as part of the Wellness day of New Student Orientation. On Saturday, August 29 at 1p.m., AQRAAD invites all students to take a bike tour of the trails through Hodenphyl Woods and around Reeds Lake.

New Resident Information

Room assignment and roommate information will be mailed out to new first-time and transfer students around July 17. In the meantime, check back here occasionally for new information.

Most new students will get an orientation letter in early August indicating specifically when you are to arrive (between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.) on Thursday, August 20. It is important that you try to arrive as scheduled, to reduce campus traffic problems and be able to move in with your roommate. If you are participating in the STAR program on August 19, you should plan to arrive between 5 and 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 18. New transfer students and returning residents are able to move in beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 22.

New RHA Board is Elected

The Residential Housing Association elected thier new executive board at the annual year-end banqet and meeting on April 22. Congratulations to new Chariperson Alex Getz and the rest of the board - Josh Devitt, Robert Ballard, Nikki Robertson, Amy Montieth, and Ashley Tanis.
