H1N1 Flu Information
Much national media attention has been given to the potential threat of the H1N1 flu virus and the susceptibility of college students to this particular strain of influenza. Aquinas students can download the College's response on the Health and Wellness Center Web site, and also find out more about the virus including how to avoid the flu and what to do if you have the flu from our partners at Student Health 101. The Health Center is preparing "flu kits" for any affected students, and is collaborating with Residence Life in asking for resident student volunteers to act as "flu buddies", taking necessary meals and support materials to ill classmates.
 
Homecoming Activities for Students

Homecoming at Aquinas will be October 2, 3 & 4, including the inaugural AQ Run Thru , which will feature a hall competition for the "Nelson" Trophy. Click on the link above for more information or to sign up for this event. Watch for more information about student-oriented activitiies during homecoming week and weekend from the Student Activities Office and the Programming Board, or ask your Resident Assistant.

 
AQ Club Night is scheduled for Friday, October 9
AQRAAD and the Programming Board are making plans for this fall's version of AQ Club Night at East Hills Athletic Club to be the best yet! Last year over 260 students came to enjoy the fantastic East Hills Athletic Club facitlies for tennis, swimming, volleyball, basketball, soccer, frisbee, rock band, inflatables, and many more activities, as well as just hanging with friends and enjoying the free food and drinks in the club lounge, and snagging one of the great prizes available. Free transportation will be offerred again this year. Be sure to watch the Moose all week prior to the event for more detiails.
