Springtime blossoms frame the historic
Cook Carriage House, AQ's home to
Campus Life. |
Upon entering the building, you'll find the focus of the Carriage House... spelled right out
for you! |
 |
 |
The Carriage House features traditional décor combined with contemporary
influence, like
this display of natural stones that can be found in the entryway of the building, nestled
between casual seating. |
When approaching the main entrance to
the building, you'll be greeted by this
custom
planter, which features a seasonal arrangement carefully choosen and planted by our
housekeeper, Cynthia. |
 |
 |
If you've been to the Cook Carriage House before, you'll recognise this guy... the
official
mascot of the building. Learn
more about him on AQ's Fun Facts page! |
Rooted in the Catholic tradition of Aquinas,
a crucifix can be found above each office
doorway in the building. |
 |
 |
| The Moose Café, located in the Carriage House, features a wide variety of beverages. |
Sunlight streams through the windows of the Moose Café through bottles of drink flavors. |
 |
 |
Upstairs in the Carriage House, you'll find
a wide variety of gaming opportunities, including
a pool table. |
Art is placed all over our building for everyone to enjoy. This piece is located
just outside
the Campus Life Office, across from the Lake Michigan Credit Union ATM. |
 |
 |
Our offices on both levels of the building
are cozy and inviting. You are welcome
here any
time! |
The newly renovated Moose Café features this wraparound bar made out of beautiful and
earthy slate. |
 |
 |
On both levels of the building, unique and enjoyable patterns and textures are
featured
on the sleek and comfortable furniture. You can curl up on this couch
and enjoy watching our
new flatscreen television in the TV/Game Lounge! |
The staff of Campus Life has a wide variety of interests and hobbies. Dave Weinandy,
who oversees the department, is a pretty
big Pat Benetar fan. How could you have guessed?
Visit the office on the main level
to see his collection of memorabilia! |
 |
 |
The Student Leadership Office, on the
upper level of the building, is alive with student
activity, leadership planning, and more. This African figurine sits in the
window near the
Multicultural Resource Lounge, which is nestled in the corner of
the office. |
Whether you want a vanilla chai, an
iced mocha or a hot chocolate with a hint
of
hazlenut, the friendly and talented
baristas at the Moose Café are equipped
with the skills,
supplies, and treats to create just what you're craving. |

|
| The Ryan Deck is a prime place to be in three out of our four Michigan seasons. Featuring an
automated awning, an outdoor grill, patio tables with umbrellas and more, this is the perfect
place to study, chat, or watch the AQ soccer teams in action. |
