This group will strive to uphold the vision of TOMS Shoes to the AQ Community through special events. TOMS Shoes gives one pair of shoes to a child in need for each pair purchased - One for One.
 
American Red Cross
President:
As the Aquinas American Red Cross (AARC), devoted to helping others within our school, community, and around the world. We do this through American Red Cross based programs such as CPR/Babysitting/Lifeguard training and teaching, the Disaster Relief program, and writing holiday mail for the soldiers oversea and veterans.
 
AQ Stars

AQ Stars is the collegiate affiliation of the Make-a-Wish foundation. Our purpose is to assist with wish granting, fundraising, and sharing the power of a wish!
 
Aquinas Residents Against Abusive Decisions (AQRAAD)

AQRAAD promotes a healthy lifestyle by bringing students together for many different fun, recreational, and alternate outlets to have a good time
 
Community Action Volunteers of Aquinas (CAVA)

CAVA serves as a bridge between community organizations and the Aquinas community. It functions to get Aquinas students energized about volunteering, as well as to connect them to volunteer opportunities similar to their interests. College-wide events include Into the Streets and Heartside Pride Cleansweep.
 
Habitat for Humanity

Habitat is a group of students that works with Kent County Habitat for Humanity by building houses and fundraising with all proceeds going to Kent County Habitat.
 
Penny Ben

Supporting People with Cancer, One Penny at a Time. PennyBen is dedicated to the support of people living with cancer through its partnership with Hope Lodge and the American Cancer Society in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
 
Sak Pasé
President:

This group's mission is to provide financial support to the Aquinas sister school, Andre Pierre School, in Borel, Haiti. Will also inform the Aquinas Community of news related to the school as well as the county of Haiti through events, publication, and or regular meetings.

 
Service Leadership

Promote and Fund raise  for Service Learning trips and organize service projects around Michigan and across the nation.
 
Social Action Committee (SAC)
President:  Nubia Gomez  nmg002@aquinas.edu
This committee promotes awareness and action about the social injustice of the times and makes known the alternatives. S.A.C. sponsors films, speakers, discussions and rallies on such critical issues as nuclear power, world hunger and world peace.
