Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior:
The Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior Awards are presented to the student in each class that demonstrates excellence at Aquinas College and the surrounding community during this particular academic year.
While determining the recipients, selection committee members made up of AQ faculty and staff will take into account the accomplishments, activities, and involvement for THIS academic year and the preceding summer. Transfer students and CE students are eligible, as well. The ideal Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior candidates have a strong commitment to leadership, service, academics, and community.
During the awards event(s), the top five finalists in each class will be honored with a certificate and prizes, while one student from each group of finalists will receive the honor of being named The Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore, Junior or Senior. These awards are sponsored by the Aquinas College Student Senate.
