Welcome Class of 2013!

Move in was a success! We are grateful for all of the hard work provided by our Helping Hands volunteers, the Project Unite Site Leaders, our Resident Assistants, Orientation Leaders, faculty, staff and AQ alumni who made the experience a smooth transition for all involved.

Please take a few minutes to enjoy the gallery of pictures from the weekend and to read some of the comments that we have received from kind friends, parents, and families of our newest Saints.

Thanks again Aquinas! Good luck to all of our current students!

Heather B. Hall, M.Ed
Director of Student Activities and Orientation

Some comments from delighted parents:
Move in day was rainy, sweaty, smelly, & a “bit” crowded. However, throughout the entire day we never saw anything but smiles, open arms, and a true sense of community on that Aquinas Campus. Everyone from all the Orientation Leaders, RAs, and Faculty alike made it much easier to drop off our “baby girl” after the awesome convocation and feel she would be with her “new Aquinas Family!” Besides, how can anyone leave with anything but happy tears when you say goodbye with kisses & hugs to a Dixieland style of “When the Saints Come Marching In”.

I am a parent of an incoming freshman. My daughter moved in today. I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was and appreciative of the help from the volunteers. They were so helpful!! Everything was so organized and quick. If there is any way you could thank all those young people for us, please do so. Thank you for making the moving so easy.
