As we transition from Pepsi to a Coca-Cola campus, the Campus Life department is pleased to announce that Refresh Yourself will take place on Friday, Feburary 15 from 7 p.m. to midnight in the Wege Student Center. A night full of fun, food, and entertainment. It promises to be a great night! Beat the winter blues - take a break to rejuvenate with us this weekend as our sponsors, Coca-Cola, various AQ departments and RSOs, and other local
businesses help us throw the biggest party of the year!

AQ Idol 7
The first AQ Idol took place in 2004, and was put on by Programming Board. Programming Board President Justin Nardecchia hosted, and Senior Amy Taylor took home the Idol crown. With the launch of the very first Wake Up People program in 2008, Idol returned under the direction of Campus Life. After three rounds of fierce competition, Marquinn Curry took the top prize with his smooth R&B style. In 2009, senior Rob Karel won by impressing the judges with his ability to sing a variety of genres and charm the audience. In 2010, Brittany Bullock amazed her AQ friends with a rousing rendition of Colbie Calliat's "Falling for You." Colin Tobin's rendition of "Stand By Me" wooed the judges and earned him last year's title and a $200 cash prize. Taylor Nefcy sang her heart out in this year's AQ Idol 6, and won the prize of $500.
Refresh Yourself is an event created and spearheaded by the Campus Life Office and Coca-Cola. Generous co-sponsors include Creative Dining, Diversity Initiatives and AQPB. Special thanks to our student groups and campus departments who have donated to the prize vault and to Dominican Republic Service Learning Trip for the recycling and composting efforts throughout the event.
