Sister Patricia Daly, OP, Executive Director of the Tri-State Coalition for Responsible Investment will speak about her decades of experience in Socially Responsible Investing, “where the rubber meets the road” on Catholic Social Teaching.  In collaboration with members of the Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility, she has been working with corporations and investors to transform economic and corporate systems to promote justice in areas such as global climate change, labor rights, and financial practices.  A passionate advocate for action on climate change, Sister Pat will discuss the new moment that Pope Francis’s Encyclical Laudato Si’ presents in our work. In its call for moral reflection on how we live our lives and engage with economic systems, there are implications for corporate behavior and the role of investors in advancing integral ecology, as well as our own individual lifestyle choices.
