Continuing Education at Aquinas College

Steps to Follow to Learn about or Apply to the Continuing Education Program

  1. Visit aquinas.edu/ce. After reviewing the website, complete the request information form. A packet of information will arrive by mail in a few business days. If you are ready to apply now, proceed to step 2.
  2. Fill out the application online. There is no fee to apply. If you would like to discuss attending Aquinas with an advisor before you apply, proceed to step 4.
  3. Please have your school’s registrar mail your official transcripts to the Aquinas College Registrar/Academic Advising Center. Aquinas will need transcripts from each college you have attended as well as from the high school you attended. Due to COVID-19, please request electronic transcipts whenever possible.

    Schools that send electronic transcripts should email them to registrar@aquinas.edu.

  4. Schedule an appointment with Sandy Farley, the Aquinas College Academic Advisor - (616) 632-2871 or registrar@aquinas.edu. If you have attended college before, make sure you bring copies of your college transcripts with you so the advisor can thoroughly discuss transferability of your credits. Unofficial transcripts may also be used for this appointment. The registration process will be discussed at this time.
  5. Schedule a campus tour. If you would like a campus tour, contact our admissions department. Based on availability, the tour may take place the same day as your advising appointment or on a more convenient day. Tours last approximately one hour. A virtual tour is available at aquinas.edu/campusvirtual-tour.
  6. Contact the Veteran Certification Officer, If you are a veteran of the US armed forces (or an eligible dependent or spouse) entitled to educational benefits, call (616) 632-2871 or email registrar@aquinas.edu.
  7. Complete the financial aid process to learn about possible sources of financial assistance. Students find Aquinas financially manageable through a variety of grants, scholarships, loans and payment plans. To apply for financial aid, you will need to file a FAFSA as early as possible. Complete the FAFSA online at fafsa.gov (Obtain a FSA ID through that site before you begin if it is your first time completing the FAFSA. Note: Aquinas’ school code is 002239.)     NOTE: For a limited time as an encouragement for enrollment in the program, new Continuing Education (adult undergraduate) students receive a Welcome discount for reduced tuition (50%) for their first three Aquinas College credits. This includes students accepted as Continuing Education students who have never taken classes at Aquinas College or previous Continuing Education students who have been re-admitted after an Aquinas enrollment gap of at least two years.
