Information for Parents & Families

Parents and families are encouraged to attend Parent/Family Day and learn how to support their first year student's academic and co-curricular experiences. The charge for lunch and materials is $15 per parent (no charge for student). Remember that parents/families and AQ students will be separated for the day and will rejoin at the end of the day for the last session. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes to maneuver campus.

Registration
Parents/guests need to register for Parent & Family sessions, too. If you did not register when your student signed up for STAR, please contact the Admissions office by e-mail at admissions@aquinas.edu or call (616) 632-2900 to reserve your space.

Why should I register?
Parent/Family Day offers Aquinas-specific support for you as family members as you transition to the new relationship you have with your AQ student. The day is designed to answer the questions that you may have (or didn't know that you have) about basic needs for your student and how to prepare for that transition to college in August.

You will receive lunch, interact with campus departments, and enjoy some time with fellow families of incoming Aquinas College freshmen. This is a day to define the partnership between Aquinas College and your family, and to see the important place that you hold as a member of the AQ community. Please join us!
