Alumni Association Leadership Council

The Alumni Association Leadership Council (AALC) oversees the outstanding Alumni Award programs, actively supports alumni engagement and serves as the liaison between Aquinas College Alumni and the Board of Trustees.

Amelia is currently the Sustainability Coordinator at PetDine. Amelia States: “The most amazing experiences I had were opportunities that I would never have considered possible before AQ”.

Vice President
Jim is currently Vice President of Payroll Operations at BASIC. Jim states, "Having three kids there currently, I wanted to get involved more with the college and give back to a college that supported and shaped me."

Will Eberle Will Eberle '10
President Emeritus
After graduating in 2010 with B.A.s in Political Science, English, and History, Will worked as field director for Pat Miles' (AQ '88 and former member of the Board of Trustees) campaign for the U.S. House of Representatives. He then spent nearly four years working in the United States Senate for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, rising to become her press secretary before going back to school and earning a Masters in Public Policy with a concentration in International and Global Affairs from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He currently works as the Director of Government Relations and External Affairs for E.ON North America, an international utility-scale renewable energy company, working on on-shore and off-shore wind, solar photovoltaic, and battery energy storage issues at all levels of government. He and his wife Maureen live in Chicago with their cat, Mags (yes, named after former Detroit Tiger Magglio Ordonez).

Chris is the Athletic Director / Director of Student Activities at Kalamazoo Hackett Prep High School. "My wife and I are both AQ Alums and feel a strong sense for the purpose of Aquinas. The AALC is a great way to get involved and connect with other alumni as well as help attract new students."

Paul is currently the Vice President of Ticket Sales at Milwaukee Bucks. Paul’s favorite memory at AQ was as a player on the 2005-2006 Men's Basketball team. “Our win at Indiana Tech secured the WHAC Tournament seeding. This eventually helped ensure the first NAIA National Tournament bid in Aquinas College Men's Basketball history. Later, we were voted into the Aquinas College Athletic Hall of Fame for this achievement.”

Gail states, “Aquinas College taught me a great deal about social justice and how to think critically. It is because of what I learned at Aquinas, both in and out of the classroom, that inspired me to become a social worker and to eventually obtain my law degree. It is that strong desire to engage in service and social justice that was instilled in me at Aquinas that brings me back to Aquinas to give back to that very community that helped shape who I am today.”

Nate is an Associate Planner at Allen County, Indiana Nate states, “I joined the AALC because the Aquinas College Community put so much effort and investment into me, and I want to try and return the effort and investment back.”

Lianne is the Principal Product Research & Development Analyst at Whole Foods Market. Lianne’s favorite AQ memory was “working as the Manager of the Moose Cafe, Living in Dominican and running both cross-country and track!”

Kyle is currently an Insurance Agent at Olivier VanDyk Insurance Agency. Kyle States: “I felt that this was a great way to help spread the word about Aquinas and how amazing of a place it is”.

Joe is the Web Project Coordinator at Grand Valley State University Joe states, “I want to give back to the community that has given me so much. I want to further my focus of living with the pillars of Service and Community by joining the AALC.”
