Internship Information for Employers

Any student at Aquinas can complete an internship for credit through the Advantage Center. Aquinas offers a number of academic programs that may be a good fit for your organization.

Why should you hire an AQ student intern?

  • Accountability - Students are required to complete at least 150 hours per semester, or about 10 hours per week
  • Learning - We emphasize receiving feedback, learning, and developing career readiness skills. Every student receives an onsite visit from AQ faculty where we discuss learning goals with the supervisor and intern.
  • Connection - Through various assignments, we’ve designed a curriculum that connects the learning in the classroom to the projects and activities of the internship while encouraging reflection and articulation.
  • Support - The Aquinas Internship Director is available to supervisors and student to address any concerns or issues.
