Milwaukee Bucks executive and Aquinas College alumnus Paul Bee will deliver the commencement address to the College’s Class of 2020 on Saturday, May 9.

“We are honored that Paul Bee will deliver the commencement address,” Aquinas College President Kevin Quinn said. “Mr. Bee maximized his experience as a student on our campus. Our graduates will be inspired by his story and the impact that an Aquinas education has had on his life. He is a shining example of what it means to always be an Aquinas Saint.”

As vice president of ticket sales for the Milwaukee Bucks, Bee leads a team of more than 70 sales representatives to fill the seats of Fiserv Forum for every game.

Prior to his role in Milwaukee, Bee served nearly seven years with the Detroit Red Wings, finishing his tenure with the N.H.L. team as director of ticket sales. During that time, Bee also served as an adjunct professor at both Aquinas and Wayne State University, teaching sports business courses. Prior to the Red Wings, Bee served in various roles for the N.B.A.’s Cleveland Cavaliers.

“To be asked to come back to Aquinas and deliver the commencement address is truly an honor and a blessing” Bee said. “I am humbled to participate and very excited to usher in our next wave of Aquinas alumni.”

Bee earned dual bachelor’s degrees in business administration and communications from Aquinas College in 2006. He also played basketball and ran track as an AQ Saint. He holds a management certificate in leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Previous College commencement speakers include Meijer Vice Chairman Mark Murray (2019), Steelcase CEO James Keane (2018) and Founder and Chairman of 42 North Partners Michael Jandernoa (2017).

Commencement will be held at the Sturrus Sports and Fitness Center at Aquinas College at 2 p.m. on May 9. Tickets are limited to graduates and their family and friends. More information about commencement exercises is available on the Aquinas College Commencement web page.
