Student Learning Outcomes
Mission Statement
The mission of the Communication Department is to provide a sound theoretical and practical curriculum in human communication which will foster understanding, appreciation and practice of communication in various contexts, prepare students for professional/citizenship endeavors, and equip students for life-long learning.
Senior Thesis
At Aquinas, communication and interdisciplinary communication majors complete a senior thesis project through CN406 (Advanced Communication Theory) and CN 498 (Research Methods). The project involves original research, data analysis and professional presentation to fellow students and communication faculty. This project prepares students for graduate school or a career involving community outreach.
