About The Hildegard Singers:
Based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the Hildegard Singers, Barbara Witham McCargar, Lisa Walhout and Diane Penning each have outstanding solo careers and have come together to celebrate the hauntingly beautiful music of Hildegard of Bingen. Their concert repertoire also includes Medieval and Renaissance motets and carols, Gregorian chant and Spanish and Portuguese cantigas. Since making their first recording in 2011 they have appeared in concert at such venues as the International Congress of Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo (2012), the International Conference on St Ursula at the University of Trinity St. David in Carmarthen Wales (2013) and their own concerts including Queens’ College Cambridge, England and venues in Michigan and Florida. The Hildegard Singers are proud to be members of the Michigan Arts Council Touring Directory enabling presenters to obtain underwriting for their concerts.
