Joint Music Faculty Recital

Over a dozen professional performers on the Aquinas College Music Department faculty will be sharing their talents in recital next Monday evening, Oct. 11 at 7:30 p.m. in Kretschmer Recital Hall followed by a transition to Our Lady Seat of Wisdom Chapel for a short second half. This rich program offers masterworks, classical and jazz works from the last century, and self-composed pieces.

Performers: Andrew Bergeron, classical guitarist and composer; Larry Biser, organist; Nathan Borton, jazz guitarist with guest jazz trio; Paul Hardaker, trumpeter with Todd Wilkie, collaborative pianist; Barbara Witham McCargar, soprano with Wilkie; Vocal Quartet of McCargar, Susan Gould-alto, Christopher Mason-tenor, and Tom Polett, bass with Mary Hurd, collaborative pianist; Gary McCourry, jazz alto saxophonist with Steve Talaga, jazz pianist; Polett, trombonist with Sydney Wetzel, student narrator; Dan Rickabus, ukulele and songwriter; and the Wilkie-Hurd Piano Duo. Art Professor Dr. Jochen Wierich will be assisting by sharing comments and images related to one of the pieces being performed.

This program is free and open to the public. Masks are required to be worn in both spaces for the health and safety of all.
