GRETCHEN: Our travels sketched

Monday, August 12 - Saturday, September 13

Aquinas College Art and Music Center Gallery
1700 Fulton Street East
Grand Rapids, MI 49506

Aquinas College is presenting the work of the late artist and architect Gretchen Minnhaar. The exhibit “GRETCHEN: Our Travels Sketched” is on display from Monday, August 12, through Saturday, September 13.

Inspired by her travels and her architectural training, Gretchen’s sketches are a unique record of her experiences. Her perspective is visible in the bright, colorful and personal sketches on paper that served both as a visual travel journal and as the starting point for larger works.

Sketches on exhibit will be available for purchase. All proceeds fund the Gretchen Minnhaar Scholarship Fund for Women in Art or Science at Aquinas College.
