Physical Wellness
Physical wellness is about maintaining your physical health through a balanced lifestyle. This dimension encourages participation in regular physical activities, a healthy diet, and getting adequate rest and sleep. Physical Wellness is more than just using diets or exercise routines. It means practicing a lifestyle that includes positive self-care for minor illness or injuries and knowing when professional medical attention is needed. If you are unsure of what health practices you should utilize, please consult your doctor or physician to discuss your health.

- Schedule and attend regular visits with your doctor or physician for check-ups
- Establish healthy daily routines
- Make positive decisions about substance use and sexual activity
- Find friends or family to practice healthy life choices with
Are you engaged in practicing physical wellness?
- Do I eat regular, well-balanced, and healthy meals?
- Do I get enough sleep each night?
- Do I exercise my body regularly?
- Do I depend on a substances to get through the day? (i.e. caffeine, alcohol, prescription drugs, etc.)
If you answered "no" to any of the questions, it may indicate an area where you need to improve the state of your physical wellness.
