Black History Month: A Celebration of the Harlem Renaissance

The Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity and the Diversity Assistants present:

2/5: Harlem with a Twist, 7:00-8:30 pm, The Moose Cafe.

Join us to learn about the visual arts and artists of the Harlem Renaissance while you create your own work of art! Painting supplies and light refreshments provided. 

2/12: My People Poetry Slam, 3:00-5:00 pm, The Moose Cafe.

Join us for a night of spoken word poetry from the great writers of the Harlem Renaissance and our own Aquinas students, staff, and faculty. Light refreshments provided. 

2/20: Jazz Up Your Night, 6:00-8:00 pm, The Moose Cafe.

Enjoy live jazz music while learning about the great musicians that started this classic American genre in the 1920s. 

2/23: Soul Food Sunday with Team Trivia, 6:00-8:00 pm, Wege Ballroom.

We're ending Black History Month with a party! Join us for music, a Soul Food dinner catered from Daddy Pete's BBQ and interactive Team Trivia!
