Move-In Schedule

Move-In for New Students to Aquinas (First-Year and Transfer Students for Fall 2021)

Move-in for new students will occur between 8:00 AM and 1:00 PM on August 21. Housing assignments for new students were communicated via e-mail on July 9. Along with the housing assignment information, students are provided with an assigned move-in time to arrive on-campus. Due to road work taking place near the Fulton St. entrance, drive-in details will be communicated at a later date.

On move-in day, students and families will move belongings into their rooms during their assigned times. If you are a Bridge student, STEM student, athlete participating in pre-season activities, or a global student, please review information regarding your move-in below.

New students who are not able to move in on August 21 should complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.


Move-In for New Students participating in STAR on August 20

Move-in for new students participating in STAR on August 20 will occur on August 19 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM. All students will check-in at Regina Hall first and then be directed to their residence hall (if not Regina). If you are unable to arrive during the scheduled move-in time, please complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.


Move-In for New Students Participating in the AQ Bridge Community Program

Move-in for new students participating in the Aquinas Bridge Community Program will occur on August 8 from 1:00 PM to 4:00PM at Regina Hall. Bridge students will be moving into their Fall 2021 housing assignment and will not need to relocate at the end of the program. Students are welcome to remain on-campus in between the conclusion of summer Bridge activities and the start of New Student Orientation.

If you are unable to arrive during the scheduled move-in time, please complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.


Move-In for Students Participating in the STEM Program

Plan to move into your assigned campus housing on Wednesday, August 18 between 10:00 and 11:00 AM. Check in at the front desk at Regina Hall to collect your keys and information packet. Volunteers will be available to help you move items into the dormitory beginning at 10:00 AM but not before then, so please plan to arrive at 10:00 AM at the earliest.

Move-In for Returning Students

Move-in for returning students will occur on August 23 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. All students will check-in at the Donnelly Center before heading to their residence hall.

 

Returning students who are not able to move in on August 23 should complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

 

Aquinas welcomes all returning students to join our community for Welcome Week beginning on August 25.


Student Athletes

Fall athletes will receive move-in date & time infromation from their coach.

  • Women's Volleyball, Women's Soccer, and Men's Soccer will move-in on August 8 between the hours of 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Aquinas College will host a Welcome Back BBQ Dinner for students returing to campus on August 8.
  • The Cross Country Team will move-in on August 20 between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM.
  • Check-in for all of these teams will take place at Regina Hall. Students will be directed to their building (if not Regina) after check-in.

Students that need to request a different time should complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

Global Students

New Global Student move-in will take place on August 17/18 and will participate in Global Student Orienation to begin on August 19. Students arriving between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM Eastern can check-in at the Regina Hall Front Desk. Students that need to request a different time should complete the Special Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.


Returning Students in Leadership or Involvement Roles

Returning students who serve in leadership or involvement roles at the College (OLs, DAs, Front Desk Staff, etc.) that could potentially necessitate a special move in should consult with the department that sponsors the opportunity.

  • Resident Assistant Staff: August 7
  • Bridge Staff: August 8
  • Diversity Assistants: August 10
  • Front Desk Staff: August 13
  • Orientation Leaders: August 18, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM

Additional Move-In Information and Logistics

The Residence Life Office will provide additional details about move-in days to help students and families understand what to expect and what protocols will be in place. We will continue to communicate that information via email, and questions can be directed to the Residence Life Office at reslife@aquinas.edu.
