Move-In Schedule

Move-In for New Students to Aquinas (First-Year and Transfer Students for Fall 2020)

Move-in for new students will occur on August 14-16. Housing assignments for new students will be communicated via e-mail by July 1. Along with the housing assignment information, students will be provided with an assigned day and move-in time to arrive on-campus.

On move-in day, students and families will move belongings into their rooms during their assigned times. Students and families will also gather in socially-distanced small groups to receive pre-orientation information. Details about the schedule for move-in day will be provided by July 1.

New students who are not able to move in on August 14-16 should complete the Early Arrival Request Form to request special move-in arrangements.

Move-In for New Students Participating in the AQ Bridge Community Program

Move-in for new students participating in the Aquinas Bridge Community Program will occur on August 2.  More specific information will be provided via e-mail by July 15 directly to the Bridge Community Program participants.

Move-In for Returning Students

Move-in for returning students will occur between August 11-17 on a staggered schedule. Returning students will sign-up for their move-in day/time. Sign-ups will be available beginning July 1 and the link will be sent to returning students via e-mail.

At that time, returning students may also request special arrangements if they cannot move in between August 11-17.

Aquinas welcomes all returning students to join our community for "Welcome Week" beginning on August 16.

Student Athletes

Fall season student athletes will move-in at the same time as all other students:

  • New fall student athletes will move in at their assigned day/time between August 14-16.
  • Returning fall student athletes will sign up for a move-in day/time that will occur between August 11-17.

Global Students

The College will be prepared for global students to move-in as soon as July 31 and will be equipped to provide services and support for a 14-day quarantine period if required or advised by the CDC or Kent County Health Department.

  • New global students to Aquinas should communicate with Ashley Manor in the Aquinas Admissions Office at aam004@aquinas.edu to make arrival arrangements.
  • Returning global students living on-campus should communicate with the Aquinas Residence Life Office at reslife@aquinas.edu to make arrival arrangements.

Returning Students in Leadership or Involvement Roles

Returning students who serve in leadership or involvement roles at the College that could potentially necessitate a "special move in" should consult with the department that sponsors the opportunity.

Additional Move-In Information and Logistics

The Residence Life Office will provide additional details about move-in days to help students and families understand what to expect and what protocols will be in place. We will continue to communicate that information via email, and questions can be directed to the Residence Life Office at reslife@aquinas.edu. Please also remember to check the Aquinas Saints Together website for the most up-to-date information about the plan to return to on-campus classes for fall semester.
