RSVP'S will be accepted until Friday, June 18th. Topics include: Introductions to our Dominican and Inclusive mission, the importance of a liberal arts education, academic expectations, current student and family panel, tour of a residence hall, and meet your potential Orientation leader.

Time frame: 10am-2pm Grand Rapids

Our community day's mission is to connect incoming families to the resources available and to acclimate to our wonderful campus community. Lunch will be provided. No registration fees will be required. Need special accomodations? Please email sao@aquinas.edu and someone will be with you shortly

If you are unable to attend the community day, a virtual orientation option is available. Students will receive instructions in their AQ emails over the summer. Presentations are both geared for students and their families.

Registration
Your student would have been sent an unique access link to our virtual platform :VSTAR. VSTAR: Family Edition has a dedicated subpage with all of the information to support your first year student. No prior Registration is needed to 'participate' in the live or simi-live events.

Why should I register?
VSTAR: Family Edition  offers Aquinas-specific support for you as family members as you transition to the new relationship you have with your AQ student. The day is designed to answer the questions that you may have (or didn't know that you have) about basic needs for your student and how to prepare for that transition to college in August.

Hotel Information
A special Aquinas College rate is offered at many hotels in Grand Rapids. Families are encouraged to share that you are with Aquinas College while making reservations. For more information please our Directions and Hotel Information page.

Questions? Feel free to reach out to the Student Activities & Orientation office at sao@aquinas.edu or Tim Ramsay at ramsatim@aquinas.edu

Can't wait to meet you and your family in August!
