Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Weekends
The Mail Room is closed on the weekends.

Location
The Mail Room and Copy Center is located in the Academic Building, room 51/53 (AB 51/53).

Mail Room Services

Services available to all AQ Students, Faculty & Staff are as follows

  • Stamps  
    •  Available as singles or in books. Rolls can be purchased upon departmental request.
  • Envelopes    
    • Available in a variety of sizes
  • Packages    
    • Shipping available via U.S. Postal Service and UPS/FedEx prepaid return shipping. All return shipping. All FedEx return shipping MUST be called in for pickup by the sender, NOT the mail room.
  • Faxes    
    • Faxes may be sent and received through the Mail Room/Copy Center fax machine.
    • The number is (616) 732-4487.
  •  Flyer/Poster Approval  
    •  Approval of all fliers/posters must be obtained from the Dean of Students Office(AB 110).
    • There are 17 information stations on campus.

Copy Center Services

Services available to all AQ students, faculty & staff are as follows.

  • Copies
    • Copies can be requested via the online request form, in-person (AB 51) with a hard copy form, or through intercampus mail.
    • Copies are available in both black & white and color. A color copier is also available in the Grace Hauenstein Library.
    • Copies are available on white or colored paper. We DO NOT stock cardstock or letterhead. We will print on specialty paper if provided.
    • White paper comes in sizes 8 1/2 x 11, 8 1/2 x 14, and 11 x 17
    • All requests must be submitted two business days prior to the requested finish date.
  • Don't forget to check out our free scratch pads and envelopes

Additional Information

  • Packages    
    • Packages are delivered to the Mail Room Monday through Friday by U.S. Mail, UPS and FedEx.
    • A notification of package arrival is sent to students, staff and faculty via email and text message
    • Students and faculty can pick up packages in the Mailroom during regular business hours.
    • Academic and Administrative Departments with offices in AB can pick up packages in the Mail Room during regular business hours. Departments located elsewhere on campus will have their packages delivered to them.
    • Students must present a valid Aquinas ID to pick up a package.

 

  • U.S. Mail    
    • Delivered to all resident halls/program houses and administrative offices Monday through Friday.
    • Faculty and those administrative offices located in the Academic Building have mailboxes in the Mail Room.
    • Outgoing U.S. mail leaves the Mail Room Monday through Friday at 4 p.m.

 
Fall and Spring Breaks
There is no change in the services available from the Mail Room during mid-term breaks. 
 
Holiday Breaks
The Mail Room is closed during holiday breaks. U.S. Mail/packages that arrive when the College is closed are held and delivered to on-campus residents/mailboxes on the first business day following the break.
